Mitt Romney

I don’t hate Mitt Romney.  I really don’t.  I think that he, actually, is the prime example of the faults in our primary system.  If he hadn’t been through such a rough primary, I think that he would have easily been a candidate a lot of people could get with.  As a Republican governor of Massachusetts, he had to be at least a little moderate/liberal.  And let’s face it - aren’t we all a little moderate?  Quite frankly, I feel bad for the dude.  I don’t think that he really wants to be this GOP machine; I think he wants to act just as he did as governor.

A lot of people say he’s out of touch, and I’m not one to disagree with that.  But I do think he should be doing a much better job of presenting himself as a more relatable candidate.  He shouldn’t be going around talking about how he has friends who own Nascar teams or how “corporations are people, my friend.”  And you know what else he REALLY shouldn’t be doing?  Going around with Donald Trump.

I don’t know whose idea it was to have Mitt do a “Dinner with Donald,” or whatever they’re calling it, but whoever it was clearly does not understand what the American people want.  Why would you choose someone so famously associated with money to be a face in your campaign?  Do you not know what your critiques are saying about you?  And who really likes Donald Trump anyway?  I just don’t get it.  This isn’t helping you at all, bro.  Get with it.
